Wednesday Events

Wednesday Night Opening Reception & Art Exhibit

10:00pm – 12:00am, Nautilus

The conference is sure to be a’buzz about this bee pollinator-focused art reception featuring a sun hive and bee-inspired artwork. Unwind from your travels, discuss the opening plenary and delicious first dinner, or say hello to old friends over a drink courtesy of Uncommon Brewers from Santa Cruz, CA.

Artisanal Beer & Cheese Tasting

California Seed Stakeholders’ Meeting

Come join seed producers, farmers, seed industry professionals, university and extension personnel, and others to take stock in our state’s sustainable seed system and make plans to improve it.


UCSC CASFS Apprenticeship and Beginning Farmer Network Mixer

Come hear about the USDA Beginning Farmer Rancher Development Program grant that will produce a coordinated calendar of beginning farmer educational events and mentoring services in the Central Coast Region and will fund the update of the CASFS Apprenticeship’s training manuals. Linking Current & Future Farmers

16th Annual Seed Swap
